How to spot Hidden Camera in OYO or AirBnb or any Hotel???

I'll show you two methods to detect camera hidden anywhere by such obnoxious owners of OYO, AirBnb or other hotel staffs for that matter.

Method 1.

The hidden cameras used to film our privacy uses infrared blasters to record the video even in the dark. Our naked eye cannot track this infrared lights but our phone camera can easily do.

Step1

Switch off all the lights. Power off everything.

Step2

Turn on your camera

Step3

Start scanning the room and try to miss even the smallest of furniture in room.

Start with fan, clock, mirrors, lamps, and every other peculiar furniture you can think of.

If you notice a white spot on your camera while scanning the Oyo rooms or AirBnb rooms or any hotel rooms for that matter,

You are been watched.

Method 2:

If by any chance method 1 fails to locate any hidden camera in any of these Oyo or AirBnb Rooms, you still have hopes to cross check with this method.

Most of the smartphones come pre installed with magnetometer hardware.

This will help us locate where the camera is.

Step1

Download an app from iOS/android - hidden camera detector

Step2

Now, move app closer to every suspect you have in room, for example screws, flowerpot, showerhead etc. facing sensor towards the suspect. If app beeps when moved closer and stop beeping when moved away, further investigate for the lens.
